Chatting Mums at NO. 72

We want to reach out to anyone who is potentially isolated in a community. To this end we are forming a new group initially called chatting mums. This is open to mums who have English as a second language, or are very new to English. The aim of the session is to meet English speakers and practice English conversation in a relaxed setting. We are working to support the English lessons run at Keighley College. We hope it will be a place where natural friendships are also formed. We will serve tea, coffee and home made cakes and there will be toys available for babies and pre school children.

This project will be initially aimed at mothers but we will open this up to other members of the community if it proves successful. .
