We will be having a Whole Church gathering for prayer next Sunday, 14 March. This will be at 7pm in the Main Hall.
Let’s have a really good turnout to call together upon the Lord in prayer.

The groups meet on Thursday, men in the morning and women in the afternoon.
Help is wanted:
- to pray
- to bake
- to give financially
- to come along and chat!
If you would like to be involved phone 07505 030758 or email info@liliesofthevalley.org.uk.

Healing on the Streets

Keighley Churches will be getting involved in an exciting new venture over the coming months called “Healing on the Streets” (HOTS). It involves having a team of Christians simply inviting people in the town centre for healing prayer in a gentle and organised manner. Many churches across the country are doing this with exciting results in terms of healings and salvations. Those interested in being involved will be asked to attend a training seminar in Leigh (Lancs.) on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 February (50 miles, 1hr 15 mins drive). Please contact Steve Smith if you would like to be involved. Visit www.out-there.org for more information on HOTS.

Weekend Away

Next Year’s Church Weekend Away is 17-19 September and will again be in Keswick. This is a week later than the past two years. So please put this date in the advanced dates section of your diary. Make sure you keep it free - and be ready to act promptly when booking forms come out.

Family Weekend

The TOGETHER family of churches are having a family weekend in May. This is called

LIFE TOGETHER

This sounds as though it could be quite an exciting weekend and will be a great opportunity to meet with others from other churches bearing the same apostolic foundation.  Let’s be bold and sign up for this great weekend. Information and application forms are available at the back of the hall. As is also details of the facilities at Cefn Lea.
For more information on the content of the weekend, click here. This includes a full schedule under “What’s the big idea?”, a list of options/seminars including confirmed speakers under “The Options”, and a Registration Form which can be downloaded.

Wanted - a good volunteer
with a servant’s heart

Extra help is wanted for the SongPro on a Sunday morning. This would include setting up, operating during the meeting and packing up. It is expected that the duty will be approximately once in every 4/5 weeks. Please see Debbie Walpole.

Rewind to Easter - event for Year 5
Tuesday 23 March
Wednesday 24 March
Thursday 25 March

This event will be a fast moving multi-media presentation lasting an hour and a half and includes:
- Individual activity books designed for Year 5
- Modern retelling of the Easter story through dramas and tlks
- An explanation of many of the modern Easter traditions
- Small group work
- A craft activity and games based around the Easter theme.
Volunteers are required to get involved on these days. This could be through simple things like setting up and clearing away, making refreshments or it could be leading a small group, helping with craft activities, helping with the technical side or story-telling upfront. If you are interested in being part of this outreach to the children in Keighley please contact Alison Way of CLiKS on 07806 869569.

Puppeteers Wanted

We have been performing with the puppets for several years now and have all enjoyed working together on this. However, due to other commitments the team has recently dwindled.
Being part of this team creates an opportunity to have fun and serve. It is a commitment, and practice is a must, but it is fun. We are looking for people to join the team and if anyone has the vision to lead the puppet team here is your opportunity.
If you are interested, or want more information, please speak to Jill Pettinger or Sue Whitlock.
